Los Angeles meets Texas in Miami, the premise for the Kaohs 2019 collection at Miami Swim Week. With the likes of Sofia Zamora and Yovanna Ventura strolling the runway, there was only one way this show could go….all the way up. Set at The Setai hotel in South Beach, Tess Hamilton and Ali Hoffmann the brainchildren behind the brand revealed their upcoming collection. Titled “Wanted” the line took on a cowgirl theme, barn doors on the runway and all. In usual swimwear model fashion tight and toned bodies rocked bikinis that require confidence. Farmhouse reds, animal print in nude tones and gingham patterns made up the color palette mimicking a country farm. Cowboy hats, chaps, whips and gun holsters filled with flowers accessorized the looks. Girly frills a la Daisy Duke graced shoulders and waists. The collection was able to wrangle my attention leaving the show knowing there are several pieces I Wanted. Kaohs proving this wasn’t their first time at the rodeo.
