Travel to the Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort
Follow our journey to a five-day stay at the Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort. Kakslauttanen is a family hotel in the Finnish Lapland, 250km north of the Arctic Circle. Although we are far from it all, our place is easy to reach. Surrounded by forest along the Kakslauttanen River, this tranquil resort is 6km from Urho Kekkonen National Park and 37km from Ivalo Airport, just a 30 minute ride away.
Snow igloos and igloos with glass ceilings offer sleeping bags and shared bathrooms in separate buildings. Upgraded igloos and cozy log cabins add en suite facilities, fireplaces, and saunas; some also have kitchenettes and free-standing tubs. Other accommodations include riverside chalets and a traditional Lapland house. There is no need for TV’s when you have the outdoors for your entrainment
Visit Kakslauttanen for more information.
