A Parisian Affair Lands in SoHo: Vanderpump Villa Takes Over Maison Close

Vanderpump Event
Behind the smiles: Chefs Dominic DeAngelis and Anthony Bar fuse fire, finesse, and French flair ahead of their one-night culinary takeover at Maison Close.

New York City, prepare your palate. The velvet-rope vibes of SoHo are getting a gilded French twist—and yes, Lisa Vanderpump’s signature sparkle is all over it. On Tuesday, June 24, for one night only, Maison Close will undergo a decadent transformation into Château Rosabelle, the setting of Hulu’s hit show Vanderpump Villa. The occasion? A pop-up culinary spectacle hosted by two of the series’ standout stars—Chef Anthony Bar and Chef Dominic DeAngelis.

This isn’t your average celebrity chef dinner. This is Vanderpump fantasy, plated.

Bar, the brooding culinary mind behind Château Rosabelle, brings a résumé as rich as his sauces—trained at Michel Servet in Lille and seasoned in kitchens from Houston to Los Angeles. He’s a precision-driven technician, the kind of chef who balances finesse with flourish. DeAngelis, on the other hand, is the people’s chef—part social media icon, part rising culinary star, and 100% entertainer. Together, they’re cooking up a menu that fuses classic French technique with modern swagger.

Expect butter. Expect truffle. Expect the unexpected.

The $130 tasting menu is as curated as the cast of a Vanderpump series—elegant, bold, and just the right amount of extra. Crafted in collaboration with Maison Close’s very own Chef Geoffrey Lechantoux, this trio of culinary minds promises a dining experience designed to stimulate every sense. From the moment guests walk through the doors of 15 Watts Street, they’ll be immersed in a scene straight out of a European dreamscape—with just enough NYC attitude to keep it grounded.

Reservations? Très limited. You’ll want to email RSVP@maisoncloserestaurant.com faster than you can say “caviar bump.”
