Advertising Project Manager

Job Description

We are currently seeking an Advertising Project Manager to join our New York office team. In this position you will work collaboratively to scope and deliver projects with our advertisers, internal marketing, sales and operations partners. This includes detailing deliverables, estimating timelines and resource requirements. Your goal will be to efficiently manage the development process, successfully deliver advertising projects on time and exceed client performance expectations.

Responsibilities Include:

Plan, coordinate, and implement sold-in custom advertiser-driven campaigns. Execute custom programs ranging from, but not limited to, rich media ad units, native offerings, sweepstakes/contests, videos, and homepage takeovers Communicate and partner with internal teams (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Editorial, Design, Copy, Social, Legal) and third party vendors to create custom content and ad products Lead client communication for all assigned programs Build ad products using internal CMS system as needed Troubleshoot issues discovered during QA, revising as needed Implement click & impression trackers for custom elements Manage expectations internally and externally regarding schedules, resources and budgets Ensure that campaigns launch on time, deliver exactly what was sold, and exceed all given benchmarks by optimizing when necessary Summarize and share results post-campaign.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3-5 years experience managing advertising or marketing projects for digital execution Knowledge of standard web applications, rich web technologies (e.g., Web 2.0, HTML,browsers, Flash, etc.) Web tracking and reporting expertise using tools such as Omniture and GoogleAnalytics Demonstrable expertise with QA tools and methodology Very strong organizational skills and eye for detail Ability to lead a cross-functional project team, juggle multiple projects at one time, and execute against firm deadlines Strong relationship building and communication skills Excellent writing skills.

Additional experience desired:

Certification Platforms: CMS, Omniture, DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP) Familiarity troubleshooting technical problems in HTML, JS, Flash, HTML5

Editorial Interns

Job Description

LIVID offers three internship cycles
Fall: September 1 – December 31
Spring: January 1 – May 31
Summer: June 1 – August 31

Some flexibility is possible to accommodate holidays and school schedules. Location is our editorial office in New York..
Internship is part-time (10 a.m. – 6 p.m., 2-3 days/week), unpaid, and interns must be eligible to receive school credit. Interns are part of a small editorial team and work very closely with staff. They are responsible for research, fact checking, writing, and some administrative task.

Description

Interview people and turn their interviews into compelling stories for our readers. Develop a strong editing and proofreading skill and the ability to multitask at once. You will be assigned stories from an editor and given a deadline by which to complete it. There will be some to limited travel required for an assignment or cover a photo shoot, press conference, red carpet event or arrange a phone interview with sources. Journalists need to be able to work independent when needed but within the realm of the vision of the magazine.

Responsibilities

Overall, editorial interns must follow and adhere to deadlines, pitch story ideas to their editor, cultivate sources, fact check their articles and adhere to the magazine style guide. Editorial interns have more time to cultivate a story than journalists in daily publication newsrooms, so they must be able to pull together various sources for their stories. They have strong communication skills and are willing to do what it takes to secure sources and original angles for their story.
