SUBMISSIONS
LIVID Magazine is seeking submissions for its 2nd issue, "The Invisible Woman", which is scheduled to release August 2008
The Invisible Woman can be interpreted and heard in many ways and we will be looking for the many interpretations of this theme in your submissions.
Each submission should be reflective of lesbians of color and/or from the lesbian perspective.
The categories are visual art, poetry, short stories, editorials, social commentaries always with the theme in mind.
Selected art submissions may be featured with a poem or a short story.
Writers: Poetry must not be longer than 250 words. Short story excerpts should be no longer than 250 words.
Erotic submissions will be considered however this is not the main focus for LIVID's overall message. Text should be double-space with 1" margins and in 12 point readable font. Your submissions may be edited. In those cases, we will honor the writers with final review before publishing.
Visual Artists/Photographers: Please submit your work in print-ready resolution of at least 150 dpi.
Musicians: Please submit your work as an mp3 or .wav file compressed for use on the Web.

LIVID Magazine will only accept original work with written permission from the author/artist. All works must be relevant to the lesbian color experience and reflect freedom of expression and artistry in it's purest form.
